The Giant Monopoly® Project

Giant Monopoly Logo

The Giant Monopoly® Project started in January of 2005 as just a bizarre notion. I've been a lifelong afficionado of the Parker Brothers game Monopoly, and when I found that the classic Monopoly tokens (the racecar, scotty dog, wheelbarrow, etc.) were being reproduced as larger-than life pewter paper weights, I just had to have one, or two, or three. Then the inevitable question came up, "Well what do I DO with these things? Just put them on a shelf and ignore them? Can I actually use them for playing Monopoly?

Then I got to thinking, "What if...?" Specifically, what if I were to try creating an entire giant Monopoly game to match the super-sized tokens? I decided it could be done and got to work.

Since I don't have much free time to dedicate to rather frivolous projects such as this, it has taken quite some time.
